(PCM) The two-time GRAMMY-nominated rock group RED have recently unleashed their fourth album “Release The Panic” via Essential (Provident Label Group/Sony). I can say without a doubt that RED have truly re-invented themselves with this record, it is like nothing you have heard from this band in the past. It is incredible with “Release The Panic” being the band’s fourth album that they have truly taken a risk by adding in many electronic elements, more melodic vocals, and even a bit of pop sensibility and made it work flawlessly.
To record RELEASE THE PANIC, the group teamed with producer Howard Benson (P.O.D., My Chemical Romance, Daughtry) at his brand-new West Valley Studios in Los Angeles and together they have created an incredibly original and unique album that banishes any stereotype genres you may have grouped a band like RED in the past.
While tracks such as “Damage”, “If We Only” and the album’s first single “Perfect Life” still remain true to the sound of RED past, stylistically experimental tracks such as “Breathe Into Me”, ‘Die For You”, and “So Far Away” find the band in new territory and they pull it off effortlessly.
RED are currently on tour this winter/spring for the Winterjam Arena Tour. Expect the group to announce a nationwide U.S. spring tour soon.

We absolutely can’t wait to find out where Heads Hearts plan to take us next, either way, we are ready to go!
(PCM) I was recently able to check out the latest album release from Long Beach, CA quartet Rival Sons titled “Head Down”. The album was like a breath of fresh air with it’s vintage, almost blusey-tinged rock n’ roll vibe and soaring melodies. It was hard for me to believe that the album only took the band twenty days to write, record, and mix, which is certainly an incredible feat for even the most accomplished of bands.
(PCM) Big congratulations for Grammy-nominated rock band Stone Sour who have the number one Active Rock track in the country with “Absolute Zero” which Billboard Magazine calls “A ruthless hard rocker, the track pummels the listener in the gut…” RollingStone.com premiered the
