The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1: District 13 Interrupts President Snow in Latest Video Address

Hunger_Games_Mockingjay(PCM) The Capitol has been creating promotional videos in light of Katniss Everdeen’s latest game shattering moves to incite patriotism and fear in the citizens Panem, but it would appear that the once forgotten District 13 will not be propagandized to.

An official statement from District 1 reads: “Never have we been more unified as a nation. The Capitol and the districts are bound together in solidarity, striving to forge a stronger future. To commemorate this resolve, the Capitol mandates your viewing of President Snow’s Second Panem Address: ‘Unity.’”

In President Snow’s address, he talks of Panem as a “great nation” that has “never been more unified because now more than ever Panem is speaking with one voice, the Capitol and the Districts bound together in solidarity…” before a pirate transmission from District 13 scrambles the signal and takes over your screen proclaiming “The Mockingjay lives.”

This address comes 2 weeks after President Snow’s first address titled “Together as One.
