If you have, then you know that GoT fans were dealt a huge blow when fan favorite Jon Snow was stabbed to death by his own men in the last episode of season 5.

Since then, countless theories have emerged alleging that Jon Snow is still alive or will be brought back from the dead, and it would appear that HBO’s first teaser art for the sixth season confirms these theories.GameofThrones_JonSnow

The teaser art, which went live on Monday morning online and on billboards in New York City and Los Angeles, features a dark close-up of a bloody Jon Snow, looking down and away from the camera.

With a number of cast members, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) included, publicly claiming that Jon Snow is 100% dead, this latest promotional art is either a cruel trick or a glimmer of hope for all the fans.

Looks like we’ll have to wait for Game of Thrones’ season 6 premiere in April 2016 for some real concrete answers to Jon Snow’s whereabouts and wellbeing, so stay tuned!
