(PCM) The creative minds over at Friend Dog Studios have made a horror movie trailer that depicts many of the tragic events that took place in 2016 and it is eerily dead-on accurate. The video mentions events such as Trump wining the election, the deaths of Prince, David Bowie and Gene Wilder, exploding cell phones, the mannequin challenge and more. The trailer is brilliantly put together.
Friend Dog Studios was able to almost completely sum up what things were like this past year and it is truly terrifying to think of what is next to come! Hopefully 2017 will bring a lot more positivity to the world, but for now we are just going to have to wait and see.
The Final Fantastic Four Trailer had dropped, and it features a good chunk of footage that we not seen from any of thetrailerspast. While the trailer excises the more spoiler-y plot elements, you can be assured that this film will feature yet another origin story from the looks of things. The new trailer-which premiered at SDCC’15-showcases plenty of new footage, including what are sure to be flashback scenes with Reed Richards and Ben Grimm as children as well as new footage of Dr. Doom in action. Check out the trailer, along with my thoughts afterward.
This final fantastic Fantastic Four trailer seems to have done nothing but have me more mixed on the film than I have ever been before. I really love the look and style that Trank is going for, but I can’t help but think that this film will end up being one of the bigger disappointments of the summer.
The film has been long rumored to have had a multitude of production problems (which eventually got him fired from a Star Wars anthology film). The fact that Fox has kept such a a low marketing profile with the film and essentially made the reboot to avoid the rights reverting back to Marvel in the first place has made me very skeptical of the finished product. This combination of factors, along with the idea that all of the marketing for the film has been nothing that I really haven’t seen before leaves me hoping that I will be pleasently surprised come August.
What are your thoughts on the trailer? Are you excited to see the film? Sound off in the comments below!
Here’s the synopsis for Fantastic Four:
FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
The Fantastic Four reboot was directed Josh Trank and will hit theaters on August 7, 2015.
(PMC) April 13, 2015 It will hit theaters only two months after Age of Ultron yet little is understood about the importance of Ant-Man to casual MCU enthusiasts. Today’s trailer and previous comments by Marvel President Kevin Feige expose Ant-Man’s importance to Phase 2 of Marvels MCU.
Without any major spoilers, the trailer reveals the plot and premise under which Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) becomes the Ant-Man under scientist Hanky Pym’s (Michael Douglas) care. It’s also established that Ant-Man can do more than shrink down to ant size. We see this is a west coast story and last up we get the antagonist (pun!), Yellowjacket!
If you don’t mind trailers giving away some of the action, the very end of this one features a battle on a kids train set! Great sight gag, but will it work?
“It is not [an after-thought],” Feige said of Ant-Man. “The truth is the phases mean a lot to me and some people but…Civil War is the start of Phase Three. It just is. And Ant-Man is a different kind of culmination of Phase Two because it very much is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Kevin Feige continued, “You meet new characters and you learn about Hank Pym and his lineage with the MCU over the years. But at the same time, it also picks up the thread of Age of Ultron in terms of heroes – major heroes, Avengers – coming from unexpected places. Whether it’s prison in the case of Scott Lang or being a very disgruntled Sokovian Twins as Wanda and Pietro are in Age of Ultron. And in that way it connects a lot. Also, Hank Pym’s attitude towards Avengers, towards S.H.I.E.L.D, and kind of the cinematic universe in general, is much more informed after Age of Ultron events, and in a certain way, before the events of Civil War.”
Ant-Man will be in theaters just two short months after Age of Ultron. Ant-Man will be released July 17, 2015.
(PCM) Warner Bros. Pictures released a new trailer for the upcoming feature full-length Entourage movie, opening in theaters nationwide June 5, 2015.
The entourage is up to their usual antics and living it up in Hollywood in the new star-studded trailer. The bond between Vincent, E, Turtle, and Drama and their east coast roots in Queens, NY are emphasized in the new trailer, which can be seen below.
Entourage, the much-anticipated big-screen version of the award-winning hit HBO series, reunites the show’s original cast, led by Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.
Movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Connolly), Turtle (Ferrara) and Johnny (Dillon), are back…and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.

Returning cast from the series also includes Perrey Reeves as Ari Gold’s wife; Emmanuelle Chriqui as Sloan; Rhys Coiro as Billy Walsh; Debi Mazar as Vince’s publicist, Shauna; Rex Lee as Lloyd; Constance Zimmer as Dana Gordon; and Nora Dunn as Dr. Marcus. Emily Ratajkowski appears as herself. Rounding out the cast are Alan Dale, who appeared in the series, rapper Scott Mescudi, and Rhonda Rousey.

(PCM) If you need to get your heart pumping, look no further than the first trailer for Sinister 2, coming to us in the form of an international trailer from Focus Features.
The sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit horror movie, Sinister 2 takes place in the aftermath of the shocking events in Sinister, when a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Bughuul continues to spread with frightening intensity.
For those unfamiliar with Sinister,Bughuul, aka the “Eater of Children,” is an ancient Babylonian pagan deity that corrupts the minds and souls of small children by coming to life through film and photographs. After convincing the children to brutally murder their own families, he consumes their souls and moves on to the next family.
The new trailer starts off by paying homage to one of the first scary movies to rely on the horror of a child turning on his/her own parent by showing the classic scene from George A. Romero’s 1968 genre defining classic, Night of the Living Dead, where a young girl-turned-zombie starts to attack her own mother after polishing off some poor soul’s insides.
A number of scares are packed into Sinister 2‘s two-minute and thirty-second trailer, relying on pop-ups and footage from the gruesome home videos that capture the horrifying deaths of families at the hands of young children led astray by the sinister Bughuul.
Sinister 2 is helmed by Ciarán Foy (Citadel) from the script by the team behind Sinister, Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill and stars Shannyn Sossamon (Knight’s Tale, Catacombs), James Ransone (Sinister, Inside Man), and twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan.
