Internet Trolls Cracker Barrel After A Man’s Wife Was Fired On His Birthday!

(PCM) What began as an innocent tweet by a man named Bradley Reid Byrd asking why a Cracker Barrel restaurant fired his wife after 11 dedicated years of service has now morphed into a hilarious internet trolling war with tons of internet users showing their support and demanding #justiceforbradswife!

Poor Brad was simply looking for answers as to why his wife was let go from her position and it just so happened that she was fired on his birthday of all days. Cracker Barrel did not respond to Brad’s tweet, but the internet sure did and now they are posting hundreds of reasons why Brad’s wife should have never been fired in the first place. Digging underneath all the sarcastic commentary and quips a Cracker Barrel manager did respond to the situation making a statement proclaiming that Brad’s wife was just not a good fit for the company any longer. According to Facebook user, Michelle Bowman Neuhauser, “Bradley Reid Byrd’s wife, Nanette, worked at the Corydon, Indiana Cracker Barrel for 11 years, was fired by a district manager named Gwen Alexander. Reason given was, “She wasn’t working out.” She’s an older woman whom coworkers/customers say was hardworking, averaged 50-60 hrs a week. Since CB wouldn’t give Brad and Nanette an answer, he posted his question on their FB page”

You know the folks on the internet can solve just about every mystery, so they are speculating that it was very young manager that fired Brad’s wife and that it may be a case of age discrimination, as Brad’s wife is assumed to be much older. Each and every time that Cracker Barrel’s social media team posts something new, their comments section is flooded with clever responses that urge them to pursue some kind of #justiceforbradwife!  She certainly deserves it at this point and we are sure the Cracker Barrel REALLY, REALLY regrets firing her at this point.

Some of the best social media responses can be found below:

Someone even started a Change.org petition urging Cracker Barrel to explain the termination of #BradsWife! The petition has already reached over 20,000 signatures and continues to grow. It has been delivered to Cracker Barrels corporate office! Don’t worry Brad’s wife … Brad and the internet love you even if Cracker Barrel doesn’t!

Ghost Sighting Captured At Abandoned Military Base

(PCM) Whenever a new ghost sighting video is posted there is always a rather large debate over whether or not the footage is indeed legit or if has been tampered with in some way. We have to admit that many of these videos provide some pretty compelling evidence that supports the theory that the spirits of the dead often walk among us. One of the latest ghost sightings was captured by 44-year old Steve Wesson, who was on a ghost-hunting tour with a group called UK Ghost Hunt.

The UK Ghost Hunt group refer to themselves as a Paranormal Investigations Company and the trip consisted of them exploring an abandoned air force base in Lincolnshire, England called Manby Hall. Rumor has it that Manby Hall is haunted by the ghost of a WWII Royal Air Force pilot. Sure enough, the visage of what the group captured on film, unbeknownst to them at the time, very much resembles some sort of officers holding a light source.

You can see that as the group is getting ready to enter another room, Wesson’s video camera captures the image of a shadowy figure walking up a corridor in front of the them, however no one in the group appears to notice. The group claims that there were only four of them on the expedition and that they were all accounted for at the time the incident occurred. You can watch the creepy footage below:

Wesson explains that despite the fact that he appears to follow the shadowy figure with the light down the corridor, he actually didn’t seen the ghostly image until he was reviewing the days footage later. He felt he may have seen something or some kind of slight movement out of the corner of his eye which is what prompted him to walk in that direction, but never saw anything while they were in the building.

According to Elite Daily, Wesson and his team went back to the building again the next day to investigate further and learned that it was impossible for anyone else to be inside the building with them, as only security had access to the premises.

Flight Attendant Hilarious Mocks Britney Spears ‘Toxic’ Video

(PCM) An actual flight attendant named Assraf Nasir who works for Malaysian-based airline Airasia has hilariously recreated the music video for the Britney Spears song “Toxic” and he is completely spot-on.

Nasir has mastered Britney’s moves right down to high-stepping in the aisles to grinding against the walls of the plane. The best part is that he looks like he is enjoying every moment. Nasir’s parody video has already been viewed well over 4 million times and continues to pick up steam thanks to the power of the internet and our love for a good viral video!

When speaking to the Huffington Post, Nasir says, “I used to be a performing arts teacher before I became a flight attendant and dance has always been my passion. Once a dancer, always a dancer. The video was meant to be for some close friends and I didn’t expect it would go viral and receive such an overwhelming response, but I guess when you work for a fun company, fun is never far away.”

Nasir’s video even got love from the CEO of Airasia Tony Fernades, as he added the video to his own Instagram account saying, ““The talent in Airasia never fails to amaze me. @assrafnasir is the best. Love it that staff can just have fun and be themselves.”

You can compare Nasir’s version to the original music video below:

Internet Falls In Love With Olly The Jack Russell Terrier And His Special Skills

(PCM) At the recent Crufts dog show in Birmingham, England an adorable little Jack Russell Terrier named Olly completely stole the show and won of the hearts of people all over the world. Thanks to the power of the internet the video of little Olly’s adorably terrible obstacle course performance has been shared hundreds of times and you just can’t help but giggle while watching Olly attempt to take on the course.

Even the video’s commentator was having a difficult time keeping it together, as the competition was a rescue dog’s agility event. Olly was having the best time ever doing exactly as he pleased on the course. He spent his entire time in the spotlight running in the wrong direction, avoiding his handler/trainer and completely missing several important jumps.

We love a feel good story every now and then so thank you Olly for brightening up ours (and everyone else’s) day! Somebody get this dog a participation trophy or at least a celebratory biscuit. You can see Olly in his full glory below:

Man Provides Himself With Possibly The Shortest Obituary Of All Time!

(PCM) Douglas Allen Legler of Fargo, North Dakota passed away at the age of 85 and has possibly written himself the shortest obituary of all time. Seriously, the spelling of his name is longer than the obituary itself.

While Legler’s family can share a ton of stories in regards to his time working as a truck driver and a vending machine repair man, as well as a sometimes singer, none of those details appear in Legler’s obituary.

He told his family that he wanted to keep it simple, so Legler’s obituary reads “Doug Died”. That’s it, no more or no less. Legler wanted to be remembered for his sense of humor and his family was more than happy to honor his wishes.

Legler’s simple obituary has since gone viral and has been shared across the net. Many feel that they wish they could have known Legler better and his family says he never realized just how many people loved and cared for him.

Legler’s obituary will now live on in infamy, as one of the more unique and certainly straight to the point.

CNN Reporter Eats Human Brains On TV

(PCM) CNN is hearing a lot of backlash after their reporter Reza Aslan consumed human brains on live television. Aslan was filming a segment for the new CNN series “Believer” where he paid a visit to a tiny Hindu religious sect in India that still practices cannibalism.

Viewers could hardly believe their eyes when Aslan chowed down on a piece of brain on the air. We can’t believe the editors at CNN would let something like this happen. Many Hindu Americans are the most angered by the clip as they feel that CNN is “sensationalizing” Hinduism and spreading rumors and information about the religion that are just plain untrue. The Hindu sect that was featured in the “Believer” clip has less than 100 followers and the show should not have highlighted this particular sects dated customs.

Followers of the Hindu religion want us to understand that majority of them do NOT eat brains and the segment featured in CNN’s “Believer” was in poor taste, as it is not an accurate representation. The U.S. India Political Action Committees released a statement which said, “With multiple reports of hate-fueled attacks against people of Indian origin from across the U.S., the show characterizes Hinduism as cannibalistic, which is a bizarre way of looking at the third largest religion in the world”

So far, both CNN and Aslan have been relatively quite about the incident, but still appear to be showing support for the new series. You can watch the disturbing clip below, but keep in mind, it is rather graphic and not for those with a weak stomach.

CNN cut the brain-eating part out of their promo for the “Believer” episode, but we found another version that was uploaded by another YouTube user!
