(PCM) Are you afraid of the dark? Being followed? How about being lost in the woods and trapped in your car while you believe there are demented murderers running around in the forest messing with you?
That’s the plot of Anchor Bay Films’ In Fear, a tense psychological thriller packed to the gills with nail biting suspense and tension. The trailer alone is enough to make you want to curl up in a ball and never leave the house.
In Fear tells the story of a Tom and Lucy, a young couple traveling the British countryside when they make a wrong turn and end up in unknown territory. The couple get lost in the woods and struggle to navigate their way out, becoming more flustered as the journey goes on, until they start to get the unnerving sensation that they might not be alone.
The tension is incredibly thick and pulls you directly into the film. Critics have compared In Fear to the gripping 2005 horror film The Descent, so be prepared for intense scares and heavy atmosphere.
In Fear stars Alice Englert (Beautiful Creatures), Iain De Caestecker (The Little Vampire), and Allen Leech (Downton Abbey) and is directed by Jeremy Lovering who is known for his 2003 documentary Killing Hitler.
In Fear is rated R for some disturbing violent content and terror, and for language and has a run time of 1 hour and 25 minutes. Watch a trailer for the film below and see it in theaters starting March 7th!
