Journey to the West in Theaters March 7th!

JourneytotheWest(PCM) Like you’re demon hunting tales with a good dose of humor and surrealism? Stephen Chow’s Journey to the West has everything you could ask for and more.

To sum it up, Journey to the West is a story centered on Tang Sanzang, a Buddhist trying to protect a village from three demons. He works alongside fellow demon hunter Miss Duan, who he has emerging feelings for, and has a very transformative encounter with the notorious Monkey King.

Based on the trailer, Journey to the West looks like an incredibly fun, humorous, and adventurous take on the traditional martial arts film.

Journey to the West comes from Stephen Chow, a martial arts enthusiast and renowned director of 2004′s Kung Fu Hustle. The film stars Qi Shu (The Transporter) as Miss Duan, Zhang Wen (Ocean Paradise) as Tang Sanzang, and Bo Huang (Kung Fu Dunk).

The film has a run time of 1 hour and 50 minutes and is rated PG-13 for fantasy violence including bloody images, some sexual content and partial nudity.
