Reports of poor conditions and subpar accommodations at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics have gone from uncomfortable to heinous. Travel Dating site, MissTravel.com, surveyed 3,015 members and asked: what could be worse than Sochi? They found that there are other destinations with conditions almost as appalling. According to the poll, Dhaka, Bangladesh, earned first place on this list of the “Top 8 Most Unpleasant Cities Rivaling Sochi”.
Between the stray dogs occupying hotel rooms and yellow faucet water, Sochi is proving to be one of the least desirable destinations for travelers. While ailing animals in the streets and floorless hotel lobbies are horrifying, there are some international locales equally bad. A new poll of users conducted by travel dating site, MissTravel.com, reports that Dhaka, Bangladesh, and New Delhi, India, rival Sochi in terms of poor conditions for travelers.
Today, MissTravel.com releases the results of its survey on the “Top 8 Most Unpleasant Cities Rivaling Sochi”. The website polled 3,015 frequent travelers from around the world to determine which cities have the most undesirable environments for tourists. From the unfit lodging of New Delhi to the credit card compromises of Dhaka, this list exposes the worst of the worst.
