(PCM) Son of God, a biblical epic about the life of Jesus, will hit theaters nationwide on February 28th!
Starring Diogo Morgado as Jesus, Son of God explores the life of Jesus from his birth to his crucifixion and ultimate resurrection through the powerful medium of cinematic storytelling.
Son of God is an action epic featuring an orchestral score by legendary Hans Zimmer (Inception, The Dark Knight) and was directed by Christopher Spencer. Spencer has previously directed a number of TV series, miniseries, TV movies, and TV documentaries; Son of God is his first feature full length film.
Audience members might recognize Diogo Morgado from the Emmy-nominated History Channel series The Bible as well as from his role as Dr. Jorge Velez on ABC’s hit drama Revenge.
Son of God also stars Amber Rose Revah, Greg Hicks, Adrian Schiller, Darwin Shaw, and Sebastian Knapp.
The film has a rating of PG-13 for intense and bloody depiction of The Crucifixion, and for some sequences of violence.
