(PCM) LEGO is making a comeback in a big way this year. First with the feature film that has been receiving rave reviews and now the announcement has been made that The Simpsons will feature an all LEGO episode to commemorate their 550th episode milestone.
The episode will be titled “Brick Like Me” and the synopsis says “Homer wakes up in a world where his family and everyone in Springfield are made of LEGOs. He must then ‘put together’ how he got there, and somehow figure out how to get home.”
Definitely sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun! The news about the all LEGO episode comes just after the officially licensed Simpsons LEGO set hit stores. The set features all of your favorite Simpsons characters, as well as, a replica of the Simpson family home. Also, according to several sources, if fans looked very closely during The LEGO Movie ,The Simpsons character of Milhouse makes a brief cameo during a gathering of MasterBuilders scene in the film.
The “Brick Like Me” LEGO episode of The Simpsons will air on May 4th on FOX. The Simpson will return will all new episodes starting on March 9th.
