After Veronica Mars went off air in 2007, fans of the popular cult series went into mourning; no more high school drama, sleuth mysteries, or Kristin Bell. But now fans can rejoice once more!
After rumors of a Veronica Mars movie started to circulate the internet, fans got excited. When the kickstarter page went up asking for $2,000,000 to create the movie, fans not only got excited, they put their money where their mouths were and paid up. Reaching a whooping $2.7 million over the fundraising goal, fans showed they were serious about this movie, and now their dreams have come to fruition.
On the eve of graduating law school, Veronica Mars has put Neptune and her amateur sleuthing days behind her. While interviewing at high-end New York law firms, Veronica Mars gets a call from her ex-boyfriend Logan who has been accused of murder.
Veronica heads back to Neptune just to help Logan find an attorney, but when things don’t seem right with how Logan’s case is perceived and handled, Veronica finds herself being pulled back into a life she thought she had left behind.
Starring Kristin Bell (Veronica Mars, Frozen), Tina Majorino (Napoleon Dynamite), Krysten Ritter (Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23), Gaby Hoffmann (Uncle Buck), Martin Starr (This is the End), Chris Lowell (The Help), Sam Huntington (Veronica Mars, Superman Returns), Christine Lakin (Valentine’s Day), Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday, True Lies), Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars), and Jerry O’Connell (Scary Movie 5, Stand By Me).
