(PCM) Well, let’s hope that the Bay area has some huge Nelly fans because that is all that they have been hearing since Friday afternoon!
The station, Latino Mix 105.7, has been playing the track as a stunt to announce the launch of a new station called Hot 105.7. Definitely a brilliant marketing campaign, and it is certainly getting people talking.
The news of Nelly on repeat has become a trending topic on not only Facebook, but has also even gotten its’ own hashtag on Twitter #Nelly1057
The only commentary the radio station has had on the stunt has been publicly sharing one of the news stories, but other than that has remained quiet.
It has been rumored for quite sometime that the station was going to be switching over to an English language pop format, but no one expected them to announce the news in this fashion.
We know the song is catchy…but damn! 18 hours straight and counting is definitely a bit much! Watch below and join in the fun!
