Dom Hemingway in Theaters April 2

Dom_Hemingway_7(PCM) After spending over a decade in jail, a notorious safe cracker takes to the streets of London looking to collect on monies owed to him for keeping his mouth shut in Dom Hemingway, opening in U.S. theaters on a limited run starting April 2.

With 12 years in jail behind him, Dom Hemingway is released from prison with a thirst to get back in the action. After receiving a large sum for keeping quiet and protecting his boss while in jail, Dom doesn’t waste any time getting the party started.

Not too long after, a cunning woman runs off with Dom’s money, leaving him drunk, broke, and in need of a place to stay. Desperate, Dom turns up wasted on the doorstep of his estranged daughter’s apartment, seeking shelter and finding out that he has a grandson.

This crime/comedy/drama follows Dom Hemingway as he tries to reconnect with his daughter, establish a connection with his grandson, and get back in the business of safe cracking in search for the ultimate pay off.

Dom Hemingway stars Jude Law (Alfie, Sherlock Holmes), Emilia Clark (Game of Thrones), Richard E. Grant (Dracula, Penelope), and Demian Bichir (Che, The Heat) and was written and directed by Richard Shepard, known for directing and writing such films as Oxygen (1999), The Matador (2005), and The Hunting Party (2007).

The film has a run time of 1 hour and 33 minutes and is rated R for sexual content, nudity, pervasive language, some violence and drug use. Watch a trailer for the film below and check out the official website here.
