Nearly, 7,000 die-hard Game Of Thrones fans packed into the Barclays Center for the incredibly memorable event which featured free t-shirts, photo op’s on the Iron Throne, costumes on display and to of course view the upcoming season four premiere episode. In support of the first “Game Of Thrones” mixtape titled “Catch The Throne:The Mixtape” fans were treated to a performance from rapper Common who performs a track title “The Ladder” on the album.

After the performance from Common, the crowd really went wild when actor Kristian Nairn (Hodor) came onto the stage and introduced the first of several cast members making an appearance. The first guest was none other than author George RR. Martin himself, followed by Maisie Williams (Arya), John Bradley West (Sam), and Sibel Kekilli (Shae). You could see by the look on the faces of the talent that they were absolutely floored by the showing of love and support from the crowd. As Maisie Williams was walking out she slapped her forehead in disbelief and Sibel Kekilli hilariously exclaimed “Holy Sh**t!” when looking out in into the pack arena.

The cast took part in a fun Q&A session during which we learned about Maisie’s sword fighting kills, John’s love of fellow actor Kit Harrington’s big brown eyes, which alternate characters they would each like to play if given the chance and more. And of course George RR Martin answered the question that was on the mind of all the fans about the status of “The Winds Of Winter” jokingly saying “I’m working on it!”.

All of the actors again expressed their gratitude for having some of the “greatest fans in the world” and even gave away a replica of the Iron Throne to one lucky winner,  Mike Ross from Hoboken, NJ., who was absolutely astonished to win the epic prize.

After the Q&A it was time for the screening of Game of Thrones season 4, episode 1, “Two Swords”. It was truly amazing to be able to view the premiere in such an amazing environment surrounded by fans and be sure to stay tuned to PCM for our take on the premiere and what else is in store for the coming season.
