Locke in Theaters April 25

Locke_1(PCM) Locke, a thrilling drama starring Tom Hardy, has already received heaps of praise from critics and movie goers alike.

Dave Calhoun of Time Out said of the film: “This is a masterclass in how the most local, most hemmed-in stories can reverberate with the power of big, universal themes” while Leslie Felperin of Variety praised Locke as: “An exceptional one-man show for Tom Hardy, this ingeniously executed study in cinematic minimalism has depth, beauty and poise.”

Ivan Locke (Hardy) has worked diligently to craft the life he has envisioned, dedicating himself to the job that he loves and the family he adores.

On the eve of the biggest challenge of his career, Ivan receives a phone call that sets in motion a series of events that will unravel his family, job, and soul. All taking place over the course of one absolutely riveting car ride, Locke is an exploration of how one decision can lead to the complete collapse of a life.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Steven Knight (Eastern Pormises, Dirty Pretty Things) and driven by an unforgettable performance by Tom Hardy, Locke is a thrillingly unique cinematic experience of a man fighting to salvage all that is important to him.

Starring alongside Tom Hardy (Bronson, The Dark Knight Rises) are Ruth Wilson (Saving Mr. Banks), Andrew Scott (Saving Private Ryan), Olivia Colman (The Iron Lady), Tom Holland (How I Live Now), Ben Daniels (Jack the Giant Slayer), Danny Webb (Alien 3), Alice Lowe (The World’s End), Bill Milner (X-Men: First Class), Lee Ross (The English Patient), Silas Carson (Star Wars Episode I,II, and III), and Kirsty Dillon (Midsomer Murders).
