Millionaire Couple Charged With Welfare Fraud

yacht1(PCM) A millionaire Minnesota couple, Colin Chisholm III and his wife Andrea Chisholm, who were residing on a luxury yacht in South Florida are wanted for alleged welfare fraud and are now on the run.

The couple has accepted over $165,000 in public assistance between the years of 2005 and 2012 before someone eventually caught on and their benefits were terminated. The charges of welfare fraud against the couple were filed back in February, however the public records remained sealed while authorities attempted to locate the couple.

Colin Chisholm was the CEO of a satellite-television and broadband services company and wife Andrea Chisholm bred and sold championship dogs. In the course of seven years the couple managed to make deposits in excess of 2.6 million dollars into various back accounts, none of which were reported on their applications for welfare assistance.
