(PCM) Battery company Duracell put together quite an interesting social experiment in Canada that forced complete strangers to hold hands in an attempt to bring back age-old human interaction.
It has been a brutally cold winter season this year, so Duracell came up with the idea to create a bus shelter that would only be heated up with commuters touched both sides. It therefore, forced the strangers waiting for the bus to create a human chain by linking hands to connect both sides of the bus shelter and create warmth.
Duracell filmed the experiment and it has now been used as a advertisement for the company’s new Quantum battery product. Also, according to the company, each time the video is shared from their Facebook page, Duracell will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity Canada.
