(PCM) The final official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released this past Friday and it does not disappoint.
The action-packed trailer delves deeper into the back story of Spider-Man, Peter Parker, the sinister and mysterious Oscorp company, and how all three tie together.
The trailer also gives us a nice look at the cutting edge visuals and special effects used in the summer blockbuster, opening in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters nationwide starting May 2.
Being the second Spider-Man franchise to hit theaters this past decade, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is introducing a whole new slew of supervillains to throw at Peter Parker as well as re-introducing some old ones, like the Green Goblin, who’s origin we get to witness in this summer’s installment.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield (The Social Network, Never Let Me Go), Emma Stone (Easy A, The Wolf of Wall Street), Jamie Foxx (Ray, Django Unchained), and Dane Dehaan (Chronicle, Kill Your Darlings).
