Chinese Puzzle in Theaters May 16

ChinesePuzzle(PCM) Chinese Puzzle is the third installment in French director Cédric Klapisch’s films that follow Xavier, a french man who now, 12 years after the first film, is following the mother of his children to the U.S. to be close to them, in U.S. theaters on a limited run starting May 16.

Chinese Puzzle follows Xavier, a 40 year old French man who is still trying to understand life’s complexities, as he moves from Europe to the U.S. to be close to his two young children in New York.

Xavier still finds life complicated mostly due to the fact that he had to move across the globe to be close to the children he had with a British woman, he had to marry a Chinese woman to stay in the country, and he also has a baby with two lesbians; life does seem pretty complicated when you have that much going on.

Chinese Puzzle stars Romain Duris (Heartbreaker, The Beat That My Heart Skipped), Audrey Tautou (Amélie, The Da Vinci Code), Cecile De France (High Tension, Hereafter), Kelly Reilly (Flight, Sherlock Holmes), and Toshiko Onizawa (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Other Woman).

Chinese Puzzle comes after L’Auberge Espagnole (2002) and Russian Dolls (2005), all by french director Cédric Klapisch and all following the lives of the same people.
