(PCM) While in the process of renovating their living room, the Nilsson family of Sweden, were absolutely shocked to discover a gravestone from the 1800′s directly under their floorboards.

We couldn’t even begin to imagine the shock!  The gravestone measured nearly two meters in length and was approximately 10 centimeters thick. With a little bit of research the Nilsson family was able to look up the names of the three individuals that were engraved on the gravestone.

The family found that the names belonged to three people who had once owned the property in Fuglie, Sweden back in the 1800′s. The gravestone revealed the names of two men and one woman who had did in 1843, 1851, and 1884. The next issue the family will face is how to remove the gravestone, as it weighs approximately 300 pounds.

We can certainly understand the family’s desire to move the gravestone, as it would certainly be pretty creepy to know that you were living directly on-top of someone’s grave.
