Authorities Reveal An Unreleased Note Found In The Late Kurt Cobain’s Wallet

Cobain-Love1

(PCM) A hand-written note that has never been made public was discovered by authorities in the wallet belonging to the late Kurt Cobain after his tragic suicide in 1994.

The news certainly must be heart-breaking to Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, as the contents of the note do not reflect positively on their relationship at the time.

The undated note was hand-written by Cobain on stationary from San Francisco’s Phoenix Hotel and reads like a mock set of wedding vows. Love is referred to as Cobain’s “lawfully shredded wife” and accuses her of “siphoning” his money for drugs.

CBS obtained it from the Seattle Police via a public information request, however it is not known if Love knew about the note’s existence prior to its’ public release.

This year marked the 20th anniversary of Cobain’s tragic suicide and a new investigation was launched into the details surrounding his death. There was no additional information that surfaced from the investigation to force authorities to call his death anything other than a suicide.
