(PCM) It has been revealed that “The Daily Show’s” Larry Wilmore will be replacing Stephen Colbert in January when the host of “The Colbert Report” makes his move over to CBS to succeed David Letterman as host of “The Late Show”.
Currently, Wilmore is cast as the “Senior Black Correspondent” on “The Daily Show” and prior that that he was the creator and writer for “The Bernie Mac Show”, “In Living Color” and “The Office”.
Colbert will make his exit from “The Colbert Report” in December of this year and Wilmore’s new show titled “The Minority Report” is slated to start up in January of 2015.
