(PCM) Surprise! Today is Mother’s Day and if you are anything like me, you will be rushing around trying to select the perfect last minute gift to help celebrate mom on her special day. I know…procrastination is the worst, but it is what it is and I have put together a list of some of the very best (and creative) last minute Mother’s Day gift ideas!
1. Chalkboard Wine Bottle Vase: To get a bit more creative and upgrade on the typical gas station or supermarket flower bouquet, try this to change it up a bit and make a more personalized present. All you need is chalkboard paint, chalk, and a few select blooms of your choosing.
2. Painted Personalized Coffee Mug: Find a plain white coffee mug and some colorful markers or paint. You can then draw flowers, put a favorite quotation, or your mother’s name on the mug.
3. Sign Up And Take A Class Together: There are plenty of classes that can be found in just about any city or town. It could be a cooking lesson, a dance class, or a fitness class. Which ever you choose you will be spending quality time together and definitely having some fun.
4. Cupcakes, Need We Say More: You can never go wrong with a box of delightful and brightly decorated gourmet cupcakes straight from the bakery. Try Crumbs Bakery or Sprinkles…they are both phenomenal.
5. Express Yourself With Words: Sometimes the most meaningful presents do not cost a thing. Take a few minutes and write your mother a letter or a poem expressing how much she means to you and how thankful you are for that she has done over the years.
