(PCM) Paul Creane & The Changing Band is a band within a band. Hailing from Ireland and fronted by the Wexford born songwriter, the group employs their vision of modern Americana/Folk-Country with a traditional Irish influence lending to its unique brand. The core trio of the band is made up of Creane on acoustic guitar and vocals, and brother outfit Cillian and Lorcan Byrne on bass and drums, with multi instrumentalist Footzy Byrne regularly joining the band on tour.

Outside of this, the band has friends or honorary members who come in and out depending on, or to suit the occasion. This extended musical family of eclectic instrumentalists includes violin, trumpet, dobro, banjo, mandolin and bazouki, and it is for this reason that the band has chosen to represent itself with the name The Changing Band, lending a different perspective to each tour.

In 2011 the band recorded their first album, entitled Tommy Black and the Twelve Days of Lucy and spent the next year touring their native Ireland, as well as Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Highlights for the year include honorary mention in the finals of the International UnsignedSongwriting Contest for their single All For You Baby.

With the release of their second album The Clock, the band has polished and expanded its approach, while retaining the subtle and atmospheric qualities of their first recording venture, steering towards what promises to be an energetic and soulful representation of The Changing Bands standing in modern Country / Folk Music.
