(PCM) SNL and 30 Rock actor Tracy Morgan is in critical condition in a New Brunswick, NJ hospital after a six vehicle accident occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike around 1am on Saturday morning.
Morgan was traveling in a limo bus that appears to have overturned after being rear-ended by a tractor trailer. Morgan was returning home after performing at stand-up comedy gig at the Dover Downs Casino in Dover, Delaware.
The limo bus that was carrying Morgan along with additional passengers was the only vehicle to overturn in the accident. At this time authorities do not feel that alcohol played any part in the accident, however it is still currently under investigation. At least two tractor trailers and an SUV were involved in the accident as well as, the limo bus.
At least one person has been confirmed dead and the hospital reports that seven others are hospitalized with injuries. Three are in critical condition, including Morgan, and one is in fair condition.
The victim who was killed in the accident was 63-year old James McNair of Peekskill, NY and he was a passenger in the limo bus.
