(PCM) Coca-Cola teamed up with advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather China, to invent the “2nd Lives” kit that helps consumers turn empty Coca-Cola bottle into reusable objects.
The campaign features 16 innovative caps that can be placed on the empty Coca-Cola bottles to create objects such as squirt guns, paint brushes, bubble-makers and pencil sharpeners to name a few.
The campaign was initially started as a way to encourage people in Vietnam to start recycling, however the campaign is beginning to pick up steam in other parts of the world as well!
The campaign asks consumers to focus on the idea that Coca-Cola bottles never need to be thrown away and the proceeds to show consumers all the ways in which the items in the “2nd Lives” kit can be put to use. Check out the video below to see majority of the 16 caps in action:
