(PCM) The latest (and somewhat dangerous) cosmetic surgery trend among women is being called “Cinderella Surgery” and it involves altering a woman’s feet so that they can better fit into designer shoes.
The surgical procedures can involve anything from adjusting the length of the toes to removing bunions and corns from the foot itself. You can even request “toe lipo” which will aid in slimming down any chunky toes.
The “Cinderella Surgery” trend is on the rise due to more and more women wanting to be able to wear the killer heel designs they see in both television and film, as well as, on the pages of current fashion magazines.
Doctor’s claim that there can be a lot of complications with the various types of “Cinderella Surgeries” as the procedures involve cutting open the toes, sawing the bone and then screwing everything back together….ouch! Patients can be left with limited joint movement and permanent foot pain, so women looking to get this surgery should really ask themselves if those adorable heels are really truly worth it!
