(PCM) There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the fact that Oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix has been in talks for the role of Doctor Strange. Now, with Saturday being Marvels big day at Comic Con 2014, it has been speculated that the official announcement will be made today.
Several sources have spotted Phoenix around Comic Con, so it is truly one of the most logical explanations for him being in town. Scott Derrickson is directing and Jon Spaihts is writing the script for the upcoming film.
We certainly will keep you posted of any confirmations as they are revealed and today is sure to be a huge day for Marvel news and of course surprises.
