In their latest release, “Blown Away,” the band takes a stripped down approach to some thoughtful yet rockin’ material. Drums pound, guitars soar, the bass throbs as Goddess sings alternatively about life, death, religion, politics and wanting to get laid.
The band never hides it’s love of classic rock, but somehow manages to make it sound modern. It’s painfully out of step, but somehow riding the bleeding edge. It wants to matter.
