(PCM) Country superstar Brad Paisley claims that he has received over 18,000 email messages since he personal email address was leaked by the head of his record label, Sony Music Nashville.
The singer admits that he is trying to do his very best to respond to all of the messages, but with so many it is proving to be quite a daunting task. He says “it’s impossible to see them all, so if I skip somebody’s whose is really meaningful, I’m sorry, it’s not my fault … The ones that I’m see, I’m actually emailing back”.
Now, Paisley has gotten some retaliation for the email leak and published his boss Gary Overton’s personal phone number (615-944-7442). He urged fans to let Sony Music Nashville know just how much they love his new album “Moonshine in the Trunk” by calling Overton directly to let him know.
He also was sure to add that fans could even sing for the label head in order to try to score a record deal, saying “If you know anybody that’s a good singer, or you wanna say, ‘Hey here’s my voice,’ sing to him on the phone.’”
We don’t even want to know what Overton’s voicemail sounds like right now! Ouch!
