(PCM) James Dashner’s young adult novel comes to life in 20th Century Fox’s The Maze Runner, opening in theaters nationwide starting September 9, 2014!
When Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D.
Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape.
The film, based on the bestselling novel of the same name, stars Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, The Internship), Kaya Scodelario (Moon, Skins), Aml Ameen (Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Kidulthood), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Phineas and Ferb, Game of Thrones), and Will Poulter (Son of Rambo, We’re the Millers).
The Maze Runner is Wes Ball’s first time directing a full length feature film. Ball is previously known for his visual effects work on 2010′s Beginners and 2002′s A Work in Progress.

The Maze Runner opens in theaters nationwide September 19, 2014 and is rated PG-13 for thematic elements and intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, including some disturbing images.
