(PCM) It was no secret that the late Robin Williams was a video game fan and one of his favorites was the MMORPG giant World of Warcraft. The news has just been announced that Blizzard the company behind World of Warcraft has agreed to immortalize Williams as a non-playable in-game characters.
Shortly, after Williams’ death a petition was created at Change.org by his fans in an attempt to get Blizzard to place a Robin Williams character in the game. Blizzard paid attention and posted the following tweet:
.@robinwilliams Thank you. You gave us so much joy in our lives, and we hope you enjoyed your time in our world. We’ll see you in-game.

Williams played on World of Warcraft’s Mannoroth server and was known for being an extreme PC builder for gaming purposes. He would build his own overclocked and super-cooled systems.
The non-playable Williams character is rumored to perform his best jokes at the World’s End Tavern, where two stand-up comedian performer characters also perform.
No word has been given as to when the Williams character will make its’ appearance in the game.
