(PCM) Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures released the official trailer for Dracula Untold 2 months ago and now the studios have released the first clip from the action/adventure film, hitting 2D and IMAX theaters nationwide October 10, 2014.
The clip, which you can watch below, features a scene between Luke Evans as Vlad Tepes and what I can only assume is the ancient vampire that takes Vlad from a mere mortal to one of history’s greatest monsters.
Dracula Untold tells the origin story of the man behind Bram Stoker’s classic novel like you’ve never seen it before.
Luke Evan (Fast and Furious 6, Immortals) stars as Vlad Tepes alongside Sarah Gadon (Enemy, A Dangerous Method), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger, Need for Speed), and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, Gosford Park).
Dracula Untold is director Gary Shores first full-length feature film; he has previously directed high-end commercials and garnered a lot of attention in Hollywood for a trailer he directed for a faux film, The Cups of Tears, which you can watch here.

Dracula Untold is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of warfare, vampire attacks, disturbing images, and some sensuality.
