(PCM) If you are a comic book reader or fan of Marvel, you know that last summer (2014) at Comicon San Diego someone leaked the test footage of Ryan Reynolds voicing Deadpool in a short video.
The video was up, then down then back up all over the Internet in no time. While the studios and legal teams were tamping down the leaked video, the message of the comic book community seemed to have gotten through.
The Deadpool movie is finally a go.
The news seems confirmed as one of Deadpool’s creators Rob Liefeld tweeted recently, “Congrats to Tim Miller, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Ryan Reynolds for fighting for this film!!”
Now the Deadpool Movie release 2016 is confirmed, but it’s not known if Ryan Reynolds will get his shot at portraying the character in all his mature adult humor glory.
If not Ryan Reynolds, who will play Deadpool? Marvel studios has other films in the works too that include the character such as the X-force movie slotted for 2017. There seems to be no coincidence the Deadpool movie release 2016 is one year ahead of X-Force in 2017. Look for Deadpool the movie February 12, 2016.
