(PCM) Pop superstar Miley Cyrus has definitely been showing quite a bit of genre diversity lately and has just released a Soundcloud link to her cover version of the classic Led Zeppelin hit “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You”.

Cyrus revealed the cover by tweeting “Check dis sh*t out” with a link that directed fans to Soundcloud. “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You” was featured on Led Zeppelin’s 1969 debut album and was originally written by folk singer Anne Bredon and has been covered numerous times by a variety of artists over the years.

It has been stated that Zeppelin themselves learned the songs from Joan Baez, however Miley’s recently released version is definitely based on the Zeppelin version. Miley also recently revealed that she teamed up with the Flaming Lips for a Beatles cover album titled “With A Little Help From My Fwends” taking on the classic “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds”.  She also recently mentioned wanting to make an attempt to cover Leonard Cohen’s “I’m Your Man”.

Do you like Miley’s cover? Or should she stick to the pop genre? Personally, we think it’s great, but just wish the audio quality was a little bit cleaner.
