(PCM) 20th Century Fox has debuted a new TV spot for David Fincher’s thriller starring Ben Affleck, Gone Girl, check it out below!
Gone Girl – directed by David Fincher and based upon the global bestseller by Gillian Flynn – unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage.
On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing.
Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble.
Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
The trailers for Gone Girl give the film a Nancy Grace sort of feel; rumors running rampant about what happened to Mrs. Dunne interspersed with pundits and investigators accusing Mr. Dunne of the unthinkable.
The trailer also paints Ben Affleck’s character, Nick Dunne, as not so innocent; after watching the trailer the question of whether Nick Dunne killed his own wife is even murkier.
Starring alongside Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl are Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Carrie Coon, and David Clennon.
If you’re a fan of the novel Gone Girl, be warned! Gillian Flynn, who penned both the novel and the screenplay, changed the ending of the screenplay from the ending in the novel to keep readers and audiences on their toes.
Fun fact: Ben Afflek Shares a birthday with his character Nick Dunne: August 15.
