(PCM) It has just been recently announced that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be taking on the role of Black Adam in DC’s adaptation of “Shazam”, however it seems that he has even more projects up his sleeve.
The Rock took to his Twitter account and announced the news that he will be starring in a film called “The Jansen Directive”. The script for the film will be written by Akiva Goldsman, who also happens to be the person behind films such as “Lost In Space” and “Batman Forever”.
The film is based on the posthumously released novel by Robert Ludlum and tells the story of an ex-Navy SEAL caught in the midst of a government conspiracy after a rescue mission goes awry. Framed for the murder of the billionaire Nobel Peace Laureate visionary he was sent to save, Janson has to work outside the law to clear his name, and bring down those in the government who want him dead.
