Oscar®-nominated writer-director Nacho Vigalondo (The ABCs of Death, Timecrimes) creates an action-packed world of voyeurism and suspense in his thriller Open Windows.

Nick is excited to discover that he’s won a dinner date with his favorite actress, Jill Goddard. But when Jill refuses to honor the contest, her manager Chord makes an offer he can’t refuse: the ability to view Jill secretly via computer.

Nick begins watching the unknowing star on her webcam, not realizing that this decision will put both himself and Jill at risk as they enter a terrifying world of cat-and-mouse where nothing–and no one–are as they seem.

Starring alongside Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey in Open Windows are Neil Maskell (Kill List, Atonement), writer-director Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes, As Luck Would Have It), Iván González (The Divide, Errors of the Human Body), and Rachel Arieff (Clockstoppers, Grand Piano).

Open Windows is written and directed by Academy Award-nominated Nacho Vigalondo with Daniel Mas as a consultant writer.

Critics are divided on Vigalondo’s thriller which frames the whole film through a series of pop-out like windows on a computer screen; Matt Donato of We Got This Covered wrote: “Open Windows spams viewers with an overload of information, creating a technological nightmare that gets lost in its own web of lies.”

While Mike McGranaghan of Film Racket praises Open Windows, calling it: “Ingeniously structured, masterfully executed, and enormously entertaining.”
