(PCM) From the mastermind producer of Paranormal Activity and Insidious comes the ghostly tale of Jessabelle, opening in select theaters and on demand November 7th.
After a horrific car accident that leaves her in a wheelchair, Jessabelle returns to her childhood home of Louisiana to recuperate, only to be confronted by her past.
After discovering some old VHS tapes of ominous tarot card readings from her late mother under her bed, Jessabelle gets the feeling that she’s not alone.
Something evil seems to be lurking around her house, and it’s only a matter of time before Jessabelle comes face to face with a long-tormented spirit that has been seeking her return –and has no intention of letting her escape.
Jessabelle stars Sarah Snook (Not Suitable for Children, Sleeping Beauty), Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, 13 Sins), David Andrews (Fight Club, Terminator 3:Rise of the Machines), Joelle Carter (High Fidelity, TV’s Justified), Ana de la Reguera (Nacho Libre, Cowboys & Aliens), Larisa Oleynik (10 Things I Hate About You, TV’s The Secret World of Alex Mac), and Chris Ellis (The Dark Knight Rises, Catch Me If You Can).
Jessabelle is directed by Kevin Greutert (Donnie Darko, Saw) from the screenplay written by Robert Ben Garant (Comedy Central’s Reno! 911, Night at the Museum) and is produced by the same man that brought us Paranormal Activity and Insidious; Jason Blum along with co-producers Paul Young (Reno! 911: Miami, Let’s Go to Prison) and Peter Principato (TV’s Black-ish, Reno! 911).
