(PCM) Lionsgate has released a new trailer for the assassin-action-thriller John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves and hitting theaters October 24, 2014.
John Wick is an ex-hitman, living his life under the radar and minding his own business until some ruthless Russian mobsters decide to ruin his day.
Wick is forced out of retirement when the mobsters murder his beloved dog in cold blood, leaving the ex-hitman with no choice but to avenge the death of his prized pooch.
With New York City as his bullet-riddled playground, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a fresh and stylized take on the “assassin genre.”
With a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, critics are praising the the universe in the film written by Derek Kolstad (One in the Chamber, The Package) and first time directors and veteran stunt performers Chad Stahelski (The Matrix, The Hunger Games) and David Leitch (V for Vendetta, Fight Club).
Starring alongside Keanu Reeves in John Wick are Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Dean Winters, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, John Leguizmo, and Willem Dafoe.
