(PCM) We have to admit that when we first heard rumors about the upcoming “Angry Birds” movie, which is going to be based of the insanely popular cellphone game, we had our doubts about just how they were going to pull it off.
Well, not only are the managing to pull off an interesting story line, but they have managed to lock in quite the A-list cast as well. The film which will hit theaters on July 1st, 2016 will feature the voice-acting appearances by Jason Sudekeis, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Kate McKinnon, and Keegan-Michael Key.
Rabid fans of the game were able to unlock the announcement about the film’s cast by launching one billion slingshots and delightfully labeled it the “flock to unlock” campaign and it worked.
While the animated feature is sure to be geared toward a younger audience, however with a cast like this one there are sure to be plenty of adults wanting to get in on the fun as well!
