(PCM) The cunning and mischievous animated penguins from DreamWorks’ 2005 family friendly hit, Madagascar, are hitting the big screen in their very own film. The Penguins of Madagascar opens in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters nationwide November 26, 2014.
Super spy teams aren’t born…they’re hatched. Discover the secrets of the greatest and most hilarious covert birds in the global espionage biz: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private.
These elitists of the elite are joining forces with a chic undercover organization, The North Wind. Led by handsome and husky Agent Classified (we could tell you his name, but then…you know), voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Together, they must stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine, voiced by John Malkovich, from destroying the world as we know it.
The Penguins of Madagascar stars a pretty promising cast: Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Christopher Knights, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ken Jeong, Annet Mahendru, Peter Stormare, and John Malkovich.
A spin-off of the Madagascar film series, The Penguins of Madagascar is not connected to the nickelodeon television series.
The 3D computer-animated action-comedy is directed by the man behind the voice of the blind mouse in Shrek, Simon J. Smith (Bee Movie), and Eric Darnell (Antz, Madagascar, Madagascar 2, Madagascar 3) from a screenplay by John Aboud (The Comebacks, The Wrong Coast) and Michael Colton (The Comebacks, The Wrong Coast).
