Title Revealed For Star Wars: Episode VII

(PCM) After much speculation the official title for “Star Wars: Episode VII” has finally been revealed. The film will now officially be titled “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

The news about the title comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the film has just completed principal photography. The cast and crew of the upcoming J.J. Abrams adaptation celebrated their wrap party last weekend.

According to Entertainment Weekly the shooting of the film was anything but smooth, especially after dealing with the crisis of Han Solo, played by actor Harrison Ford, broke his leg on the set in an accident involving a faulty door on the Millennium Falcon.

Some cast members are even alluding the the fact that “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” could possibly be even better than the beloved Star Wars sequel “The Empire Strikes Back”.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will take place three decades after the events of “Return of the Jedi” and will star Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, and Anthony Daniels from the original films cast. Additions to the cast include Lupita Nyong’o Oscar winner from “12 Years A Slave” and Gwendoline Christie of “Game Of Thrones” fame.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will hit theaters on December 18th, 2015.
