(PCM) Since today happens to be Veteran’s Day we thought it only too fitting to share the heartwarming story about a veteran whose pay it forward attitude brightened the day for a group of soldiers.
The veteran, who did not wish to be identified, was recently shopping in an Illinois convenience store and then as he was cashing out, proceeded to pay for the items of nearly a dozen uniformed soldiers who also happened to be shopping at the store at that time.
The bill ended up coming to about $70 and the vet spent a few moments chatting with the soldiers, thanking them for their service, and telling them to stay safe and they all exchanged handshakes.
Not much is known about the good Samaritan veteran other than the fact that he was wearing a Navy veteran baseball cap.
