(PCM) A rather disgusting and quite disturbing incident took place at the Scootney Springs Elementary School in Othello, Washington. A 8-year old student was ordered by his teacher to unclog a bathroom toilet using only his bare hands.
The students parents are understandably outraged and when their son came home and told them about the incident that took place they were completely shocked. The boy claimed that when he told his teacher, Brent Taylor, a 23-year old teaching veteran, that the bathroom toilet was clogged Taylor allegedly ordered the boy to clear out the toilet with his hands saying “It’s nothing I haven’t done before.”.
The boys parents were so angered about the incident that they have even transferred their son to a new school. As for any disciplinary action against Taylor, he was reprimanded by school officials and ordered to review a proper hygiene course. He is currently still employed at the school and the school district claims that they will not be investigating this incident any further. Yuck!
