(PCM) Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures announced in collaboration with the IMAX Corporation plans to release Clint Eastwood’s Oscar buzz-worthy war drama, American Sniper, in IMAX theaters across the nation following on the same day as the film’s January 16, 2015 release.
American Sniper, starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, will be digitally re-mastered for the nationwide IMAX release, allowing for the clearest picture and best sound quality for the full IMAX experience.

Starring alongside Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller are Jake McDorman (Live Free or Die Hard), Kyle Gallner (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Luke Grimes (Taken 2), Sam Jaeger (Lucky Number Slevin), Brandon Eaton (Born to Race), and Keir O’Donnell (Wedding Crashers).
Academy Award winning director and celebrated actor Clint Eastwood (Million Dollar Baby, Unforgiven) directed American Sniper from the screenplay written by Jason Dean Hall (Spread, Paranoia) based on the autobiographical book of the same name by Chris Kyle.
