New Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer To Premiere Monday, Jan. 12

Avengers1(PCM) The second installment in Marvel Studios Avengers series, Avengers: Age of Ultron, is still five months out from its May 1, 2015 release, but the hype has been steadily building since audiences first saw Joss Whedon’s post-credit scenes at The Avengers‘ L.A. premiere in April of 2012.

After the first official trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron leaked a few days before it was scheduled to air during an episode of Marvels’ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel is playing it safe and announced the premiere of the next official Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer on ESPN yesterday afternoon.

Tune in to the first College Football Playoff National Championship game on Monday, January 12 at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN to catch the new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and check back here for the trailer after it premieres online!

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance.

As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Avengers: Age of Ultron, written and directed by Joss Whedon, stars Robert Downey Jr., along with Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany.
