(PCM) It’s been sixty-five years since audiences were first delighted by an animated film telling the classic European folk tale of Cinderella.
Now, we’re just 3 months out from the release of Disney’s live action Cinderella, opening in theaters nationwide March 13, 2015, and Disney has graced us with a new trailer to hold us over.
Cinderella stars Downton Abbey‘s Lily James as the glass slipper-losing princess, along with Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, Cate Blanchett as the Wicked Stepmother, Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden looking very dapper as Prince Charming, and Holliday Grainger (Jane Eyre, The Borgias) and fellow Downton Abbey star Sophie McShera star as the Evil Stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella.
Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger and The Winter Soldier) also stars along with Thor‘s Stellan Skarsgård, Derek Jacobi (Gladiator, The King’s Speech), Nonso Anozie (The Grey, Game of Thrones), and Ben Chaplin (The Thin Red Line, Murder by Numbers).
If you’ve been living under a very solid rock for your whole life or just need a refresher on the classic fairy tale, head over to Cinderella‘s official website and Facebook page for the official synopsis.
