Comic Con 2017: List Of TV Shows Slated To Appear

(AOTN) San Diego Comic Con is only a few short weeks away and we are constantly on the lookout to see what this year’s big announcements will be, especially when it comes to our favorite TV shows. Many of the networks and studios have already begun releasing their slate allowing us an early look at which TV shows and their casts will be present at this year’s convention. The amazing folks over at The Hollywood Reporter have compiled a fantastic list that let’s us know just who we should be expecting. We have added descriptions to some of the shows just to give you a better of idea for what they are all about! Stay tuned, as this list will continue to be updated as we move closer and closer to Comic Con which will begin on Thursday, July 19 and run until Sunday, July 23!

THURSDAY, JULY 20
Teen Titans Go (Cartoon Network) 10-11 a.m., Room 6A –  New episode! New episode!! New episode!!! The Titans are back at it again with another fun-filled panel to kick off your Comic-Con weekend. And did we mention that we’ll be screening a brand-new episode? Join producers Michael Jelenic, Aaron Horvath, Pete Michail and members of the voice cast, including Greg Cipes, Tara Strong and Scott Menville, as they answer your questions and premiere a Titan-sized special one-hour episode.

Unkitty (Cartoon Network) 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Room 6A – Your favorite character from The LEGO® Movie now has her own show! Journey to a joyous kingdom full of sparkle matter, happy thoughts and the occasional rage-out in Unikitty!, an all-new animated series. As ruler of the kingdom, Unikitty has busy days full of royal responsibilities. Unikitty is most interested in making sure everyone is happy and ridding the kingdom of negativity, but don’t misunderstand her optimism — she is one kitty not to be crossed. While she may be full of boundless energy and creativity, Unikitty is a force to be reckoned with if anyone gets in the way of spreading her positive vibes, especially if anyone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, sad. Also living in the castle are Dr. Fox, the resident scientist, and Unikitty’s trusty bodyguard, Hawkodile. Join producers Edward Skudder, Lynn Wang and members of the voice cast, including Eric Bauza, as they give a sneak peek of this new series and explain how Unikitty and her friends will make sure that every day is the happiest and most creative ever!

Justice League Action (Cartoon Network) 12:30-1:30 p.m., Room 6A – Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action in Justice League Action. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge. Producers Jim Krieg and Butch Lukic will be joined by members of the voice cast, including Diedrich Bader, Jason J. Lewis, Rachel Kimsey, and voice director Wes Gleason to screen an all-new episode as well as participate in a Q&A.

Colony (USA Network) 2-3 p.m., Indigo Ballroom.

Van Helsing (Syfy) 3-3:45 p.m., Indigo Ballroom.

Timeless (NBC) 3:30-4:30 p.m., Room 6BCF – They will look back on their favorite moments from the first season, answer questions about unsolved mysteries, and look forward to the 10-episode second season. Expected to Appear: Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett and Goran Višnjić, as well as creators/executive producers Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke will be at the panel.

The Strain (FX) 3:45-4:45 p.m., Ballroom 20 – The fourth and final season of The Strain premieres Sunday, July 16 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX. The world has gone dark in the wake of a nuclear explosion and strigoi are in control. Do our heroes have what it takes to save humankind? The Strain, FX’s action-packed vampire thriller based on the best-selling books from Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan returns for its fourth and final season. Get a sneak peek at never-before-seen footage and then join showrunner/executive producer/writer Carlton Cuse, executive producer/writer Chuck Hogan, and stars Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Kevin Durand, Ruta Gedmintas, Miguel Gomez, Richard Sammel and Max Charles as they discuss the challenges (and fun!) of bringing this post-apocalyptic world to life. Ghosted (Fox) 4:45-5:45 p.m., Room 6BCF – Craig Robinson and Adam Scott, respectively play a cynical skeptic and true believer in the paranormal. They’re hired to investigate unexplained phenomena in Los Angeles while uncovering a larger mystery about the human race. Robinson, Scott, Ally Walker (“Sons of Anarchy”) and EPs Tom Gormican and Kevin Etten will be on hand. Series debuts this Fall.

Legion (FX) 5-6 p.m., Ballroom 20 – Legion, based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, is the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a troubled young man who grew up believing himself to be schizophrenic, only to discover he is something more than human. In fact, David could be the most powerful mutant who ever lived. Along with a team of other extraordinarily gifted people at a facility called Summerland, David learned to accept his true self and defeat the Shadow King. Or so they all believed. Join Creator/Executive Producer/Writer/Director Noah Hawley, alongside fellow Executive Producers John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner and Jeph Loeb, and series stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, Bill Irwin, Jeremie Harris, and Amber Midthunder for a conversation of what to look forward to from Season 2 of Legion. Rocko’s Modern Life (Nickelodeon) 1:45-2:45 p.m., Room 6A – Show creator Joe Murray and director Cosmo Segurson will join the voice cast of everyone’s favorite O-Town residents Carlos Alazraqui (Rocko), Tom Kenny (Heffer), Mr. Lawrence (Filburt), Charlie Adler (Mr. Big Head and Mrs. Big Head) as they discuss the show itself and preview what viewers can expect from the new special (while also offering attendees of the panel a special sneak peek).

The Big Bang Theory (CBS) 10-11 a.m., Hall H  – Join The Big Bang Theory as the show returns to San Diego to take you inside the biggest moments of season 10 and behind the scenes of TVs #1 comedy for a special 10th anniversary panel! From the introduction of Penny’s family, to the baby, to that season finale moment that left fans hanging (What will Amy say?) — cast members Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Kevin Sussman will join producers and writers from the show for a lively discussion and special video presentation.

Young Justice (WB Digital) 10-11 a.m., Room 6BCF – Young Justice is back! Archer (FX) 5:45 p.m.,  – Archer is FXX’s Emmy® Award-winning, animated, half-hour comedy, known (and praised!) for rebooting itself year after year. Season eight revolved around the hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles. Join a VERY special, not-to-be-missed secret guest, plus the voice cast of H. There will be surprise guests and a look at upcoming 300th Episode. It’s a Smith-family Funday with “Francine” (Wendy Schaal), “Steve” (Scott Grimes), “Hayley” (Rachael MacFarlane), and “Klaus” (Dee Bradley Baker), plus EPs Matt Weitzman who will treat American Dad! fans to a first look at the all new season airing July 24 on TBS.

Lucifer (Fox) 1:50-2:50 p.m., Indigo Ballroom – Lucifer returns to San Diego to heat things up. The climactic events of the season finale left us wondering, where in the world is Lucifer and how did he get his wings back? With the Court of Owls decimated, the aftermath of the Tetch virus crippling the city, and every (surviving) villain in Gotham’s underworld jockeying for power, Jim Gordon and the GCPD will have their hands full. Supergirl (CW) 3:30-4:10 p.m., Ballroom 20 – Ridding National City of Queen Rhea and her Daxamite army was a major win for Supergirl, but one that came at a significant cost, as Kara was forced to sacrifice her budding relationship with Mon-El. When season three returns with all-new supercharged adventures this fall on The CW, Kara and team will come up against a new threat in the form of DC Worldkiller, Reign. Legends of Tomorrow (CW) 4:10-4:50 p.m., Ballroom 20 – After crash landing the Waverider in a version of 2017 Los Angeles where dinosaurs roam the streets and the skyline is adorned with London’s iconic Big Ben clock tower, the Legends were quick to realize that “we broke time.” Last year, the loveable band of misfit heroes traveled throughout the timeline fixing a series of Aberrations. This year, they’ll be turning the crazy up to 11, as a wave of Anachronisms turns History on its head, leaving the Legends responsible for piecing it back together. What is an Anachronism you ask? For the answer to that, and many other questions, join cast members Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and producers at their annual Comic-Con panel.

Goodman and Brannon Braga – for an exclusive look at this sci-fi comedy series, which is a take-off of 1960s sci-fi shows like Star Trek. Jon Favreau directed the pilot.

Black Lightning (CW) 4:50-5:10, Ballroom 20 – Black Lightning makes its Comic-Con debut! Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) is a man wrestling with a secret. Arrow (CW) 5:50-6:30 p.m., Ballroom 20 – With the future of the team left hanging in the balance, Arrow gave new definition to the phrase “blowing up the show.” The emotional showdown between Oliver Queen and Adrian Chase was the perfect conclusion to a stellar fifth season of The CW’s gritty DC Super Hero series. Now, the focus shifts to uncovering the fate of each and every member of Team Arrow. Could anyone have possibly survived an island-wide explosion, or has the book closed on them, as it has on Oliver’s five-year flashback story? Also present at the panel will be voice actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward) and Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy) who will be doing a live table read of a classic Halloween episode as picked by fans of the show.
