Since the release of the abysmal Spectre in 2015, people have been wondering if Daniel Craig would return for ‘Bond 25‘. For awhile, it seemed that Craig wasn’t interested in returning into the titular role. After nearly two years of speculation, it was rumored a few weeks ago that Craig indeed would return. But these were just rumors. Well folks, today that rumor has been confirmed.
A few days ago, when appearing on the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Craig finally spilled the beans about ‘Bond 25‘. Here’s what Craig had to say:
I have been quite cagey about it. I have been doing interviews all day and people have been asking me and I think I’ve been rather coy. But kind of felt like if I was going to speak the truth I should speak truth to you
Well, well. It seems that Craig has been keeping things close to the chest about ‘Bond 25‘. While this is great news for fans of Bond, Craig is nearing his fifties and I’m sure that making four of these movies has taken it’s toll. When asked if this would be his last outing as Bond, Craig replied:
I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note and I can’t wait.
Based on what he told Colbert, Craig wants to go out on a high note and send his version of the character off properly in ‘Bond 25‘.
Here’s the full interview:
‘Bond 25‘ is set to be released on November 8, 2019.
